Would it be possible to have the news in French on the website? Some kind of French version of the homepage or something. I would be willing to make the translations if that were possible. For example, http://www.linuxgraphic.org links to the Inkscape website when a new version is released, and I suppose the French users (or potential users) would very much like to be able to read the news. The same goes for the release notes, I guess.

And before someone says everybody reads English, let me assure your that this is not true. Almost none of my (Belgian) French-speaking friends can understand English, let alone read it, and the situation is generally said to be worse in France (no offence intended towards our French friends, of course. That's just the way it is.).
