Hi,
Should I post to the list when I submit a patch to the tracker? Or should discussion take place on the tracker?
I'm not sure, so I'll post here about a patch I've just submitted.
Currently, a right click while drawing a path with the pen opens the menu. This patch changes this behaviour so that a right click while creating a path aborts the current line segment and finishes the path.
Justification for this behaviour:
1. AFAICS there is no way of aborting the current line segment, so if you single-click left when you meant to double-click you can't quickly undo your action.
2. There doesn't seem to be any use for the menu when you are actually in the process of drawing a line.
Any thoughts welcome.
Cheers
Carl

Yeah, it's a good idea to post to the list to get wider exposure than just those keeping an eye on the patch queue. If there is discussion, it's a good idea to make sure that at least the essentials are captured and kept with the patch.
