Sorry for the late reply (and for my previous message which was sent by mistake:P)... I had voted yes for the merging before on Jabber. It seems it's been done already anyway. I don't think there will be much instability caused by filters development, and it will be good for us to get some feedback from others.

As for what's been done until now, Niko made a good synthesis. Most of SPFilter and SPGaussianBlur is implemented, and next steps should be fixing any missing bits of these classes and integrating them with Niko's visualization part.

Things started a bit slowly but seem to be speeding up now and on the right way. I'll keep you informed on progress...
