Hey All,

Thanks to everyone who came to this week's meeting.

Started talking about LGM/fest organisation. Five people are coming.

Marc: - Published beta, now announced by vectors on social media - Looked into and discovered the issues with a bad graphicsmagic package. - Wrote a guide for new developers who want to help https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/issues/4855 - Marc wants to be able to inform translators to help do the translation process now. We do have a number of MRs with string changes, but most are minor except for one of mikekov's which will me merged soon. Next week will have a string semi-freeze to help with this.

ScislaC: - The last trunk PPA build I have from over a month ago can open/import webp files and the current AppImage for 1.4.x fail. Marc thinks pillow needs the libs available.

Martin: - Continuing the bug accel program. Will be writing the first monthly report on Wednesday.

Jonathan: - Asked Tav, Vaibhav and Adam if they've managed to get their funded machines yet.

Philip: - Will be building 1.4.x to help go through the backlog. - Polishing off last two merge requests. Document cleanup and boolops will be merged into master. - Has some ideas about where to go with writing

​Mikekov: - Font collections and font browser issues have been fixed. - Improvements to symbols dialog, it uses the clipboard which on macOS isn't currently working. Will publish their MR and pbs will look at it.

Ishaan: - Continued work on selection improvements. Every tool should be able to set it's own style. There's some issue, it might be a race condition with the style that gets destroyed at the end. - Will publish the broken code so everyone can look at it and it can be reviewed.

Vaibhav: - Last week update, Continued working on their open MRs related to gradient issues and a selection issue in the Layers dialog. Adam helped with testing and opened couple of new reports related to selection improvements in the layers dialog. Will be spending the coming week working on some of those and will try to update the open MRs.

Tav: Fixing x/y attributes in pdf import to fix the editability. It's a bit of a cascading issue that causes more issues as things get fixed. The glyph table issues with combined glyphs and non-latin languages cause some issues.
