Please be patient while we are preparing to move to launchpad. I am adding in a number of our most active devs to the dev team to hopefully speed things up once things are ready to go. Please DO NOT act on anything until we send out a green light email (will most likely be sent by Ted). If you were not added by me, please just request to be a member of the team, it's nothing personal. :)

Does this affect inkscape_web branch? There is at least one news item in the pipeline.
And also, eh, what's the release plan? :)

The release plan is to be patient. :) We are waiting on Ted to publish a tarball and he is at a Dev Sprint this week. After that our packagers will create packages. When we have all the packages available, we will do the PR push.
