How do you change the font size on the main menu and drop downs. I can not read them as they are to small. What file do I edit. Thank you for your help.
- Version .43
- Got the program from the Inkscape home page (downloads)
- Running Windows ver 2000 5.00.2195 Service Pack 4, GTK 2.0, Glib 2.0
Kevin, are these fonts that you see much smaller than the usual ones, or do you want them bigger as usual? If the former, then this behaviour is not normal for inkscape. Font sizes cannot be changed by us, however, that would be done in Gtk I think. Can someone from the list comment on this?
Also, if you want to use Inkscape under KDE please read the Known Issues in the 0.43 Release Notes.

I tryed Inkscape yesterday, same issue under Windows 2K. Fonts are heavy anti-aliassed. The window itself gets black/white, then filled with content. This might be because it is a slow pc, PII.

If you want to try, and you are in Linux, you can set your GTK font in the file ".gtrc-2.0" (at your home directory) containing something like this (of course you should change the font "Bitstream Vera Sans 6" for something you like...):
---- gtk-font-name = "Bitstream Vera Sans 6" include "/usr/share/themes/Simple/gtk-2.0/gtkrc" ----
