Thanks to Bob Jamison there is a new win32 build as of today. I just thought anyone doing testing on windows boxes might want to know.

Should the base URL here go up on the main "Download" page?

No! ;-) Let someone else handle the bandwidth....
Bob
Why not upload the Windows binary to SourceForge and let them handle the bandwidth? We could create a 'Snapshots' release ID for these.

Sounds good. Is there a secret handshake for this?

Your account has access for uploading files, so just:
1. Go to http://sf.net/projects/inkscape/ 2. Click on the 'Admin' link 3. Click on 'File Releases' 4. Click on 'Add Release' next to the inkscape package 5. Create release named 'Snapshots' 6. Now ftp to uploads.sf.net, cd incoming, put your file 7. Enter in some notes about snapshots, caveats, etc. and fill in the rest of the form according to the docs.
That should do it. :-) Lemme know if you run into any problems along the way.
Bryce
I believe when i looked at this last time SF says things like nightlies should go on the website section of the space, not the tracker.
