Re: [Inkscape-devel] NEW: Gtkmmified Document Preferences Dialog
The new Document Preferences dialog looks good. I have one comment about the Page tab. It is not immediately obvious that one can click on the colored rectangles to set the background and border color. In the case of the Background color, at least on my installation, one has a barely visible white rectangle on a grey background. The default Border color is easier to see but still there is nothing to indicate that this is a button until the mouse is placed over it.
Another note, I think it would be better to have all Snap options turned off by default.

The following fixes have been applied to Doc Prefs Dialog: - bkgd alpha value is no longer ignored - 1379492 crash on select proprietary license - handle on-document-activated signal - handle on-document-replaced signal - 1370648 save as LGPL not possible - document is no longer changed when merely opening dialog
This should do with all previous complaints; if not please yell. But! there was no opinion in Tav's ideas:

Now that it's transparent white it's better again. But IMHO you're right. I can't however think of a better widget. Maybe someone has seen something that better indicates 'click me'?

That's one for it. Who's against?
