I created simple gradient with 4 stops where the middle two stops were tight against each other to creat an instant jump from one colour to the next. This instant jump creates pixelation - http://www.microugly.com/images/misc/inkscape-pixel-gradient.gif

Is this a known issue? It's strange to get pixelation in a vector application :)
