I've used inkscape 0.47 AQUA PPC, devel-r9101, OS 10.4.11 now for several days in my daily work as a public transport consultant.

There are two standard crashs (reported here: https:// bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/527571 and here: https:// bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/528632) which occasionally occur.

In general, there is some trouble using the aqua variant - but with some care and adventuresomeness it can be used for productive work.

Here is my very personal wishlist for next steps:

* Fix bugs https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/527571 and https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/528632 - these are the most important ones. * do some ige-mac-integration work in order to make the inkscape-bin icon dissappear from the programme switcher and remap ctrl to cmd key

After that I'd regard it as ready for an alpha release.

I want to say thank you to everybody who has made it possible - I really do admire the tough and steady work.
