Hi devel,
If I remember well, when I was using CorelDraw, a right click on a color of the palette was the action to change the color of the stroke of an object. I find it more logical than Shift+click, since you have two things to paint, and two buttons on the mouse ; and why Shift rather than Ctrl or Alt ?
So I thought it would be a good idea to enable right click to paint the stroke, since it isn't used. Of course, we would keep shift + click until another better use is found, since many users are used to this.
If you think it is a relevant feature, then I would agree to implement it. It would be my first coding contribution, an occasion to put the hands in the code, and learn about glib, which I don't know at all.
What do you think ?
Romain

Because we can (and plan to) later use the right-click on a swatch to open a menu with a variety of swatch actions, such as rename, delete, etc. Such a menu would be almost inaccessible if not by rught-click, as it's a pretty well established standard.
Not Ctrl or Alt: mostly a matter of convention, of course, but at least this way it is compatible with Xara (which also uses Shift+click) and with our own Dropper tool (which also uses Shift+click for stroke).

Please don't feel discouraged if your proposal is voted down :) There are tons of other small features that need to be done :)

Don't worry I won't :) I know I can always pick a bug or feature request and solve it, but you are generally more motivated when it is yours.
Anyway, I'll finish the french FAQ before, one contrib at a time :)
Cheers, Romain
