I've just realized a rather big problem with menus.xml: it tends to freeze the menus in the state they were in at the time menus.xml was created.
If we release with it in its present form, it means that users may not see the benefits of future menu reorganizations.

Yes, I realize that and I'm working on fixing it. It would be a bad thing to release as it is currently. I think it has already been an problem for many people getting the whiteboard functionality working.

I was expecting it to be disabled in the 0.43 release to avoid trouble in the long run.
