Hi, I'm not sure my inputs will help a lot but here it is : 1 I face the same problem with French 2 For translation purposes, I have translated keys.xml (which is a source for keys.svg and keys.html, with processing through keys.xsl) -> I now have to translate keys.xsl so that keys.html and keys.svg are completely translated. I really think those translations (keys.*) are very important, because they provide some clues to non-english speaking users. 3 I was wondering if it would be possible that the code refers to a kind of xml file (such as keys.xml) for generation of the shortcuts... If it is stupid (I often have stupid ideas) forget about it (and sorry).

Hi, I was contacted the other day by J. Ram�n Palacios, who translated the basic tutorial to spanish (I'll sent it in as soon as I do a quick revision). He asked me a question I had no answer for: in the inkscape menus the names of theshortcut keys are not translated. On the attached screenshot you'll see the spanish 'Object' menu (red underlining is mine). The shortcut keys are named 'PgUp', 'PgDn', etc. when they should be named 'Rep�g', 'Avp�g', etc. Are these strings supposed to be in the .po file? If not, where are they supposed to be translated?
