I can't tell, I only have net access at work (Windows). But a good way to check would be to run "nm inkscape | grep g_option". Alternatively, find somebody who is running a GTK+ 2.4 based system and get them to try running it.

Tried that and I get this "nm: /usr/bin/inkscape: no symbols".
