Hi all, could anyone who is interested in taking a contract and or in a position to consider working on the OLPC, please email me offlist.
I have some leads on funding to get inkscape ported to OLPC asap.
Really, it will be some very very cool work. You might send me what you would like to get from this kind of gig...I mean $$$, etc...
I also have put in for 2 olpc machines that we can pass around between inkscape developers. I'd like to get a short paragraph from developers who could honestly contribute to OLPC + Inkscape efforts to get one of these machines. So, also, please send this request to the mailing list.
Oh, I forgot to mention that OLPC wants to use Inkscape as the default drawing activity on the device...this is like millions of Inkscape users if they ship as many OLPCs as they say...
Cheers! Jon

Well, full time work I'm interested in, contract work I'm not... I'm guessing that probably precludes your offer.
Also, do you know the guys doing Zonbu? I'm guessing they're in the valley. They have a ton of OS apps on their (GIMP, Scribus, etc.) but not Inkscape. I was a touch miffed about it.
