Yes, extensions have until Hard Freeze before they have to be finalized (since they're optional we're allowing them extra time).

If the extension would benefit from any translation service, you may want to be mindful of the String Freeze, which occurs a bit earlier.

My tests cover mostly everything except platform and python version compatibility.
