While we're not in a string freeze yet, would anyone complain if I rename Grid Arrange dialog to Table? Grid has another meaning in Inkscape, and I think Table best describes what this dialog does.

I agree about "grid", but I don't think "table" is a good replacement.
What about replacing the name "Grid Arrange" with "Arrange in Rows and Columns"? It is a little more verbose than I would like, but its meaning is very clear.

Clear but long :( Just "Rows and Columns" maybe?

I guess that works. The "Apply" button in the dialog should probably be renamed to "Arrange" though.

Xara use "Object Alignment". We already have An "Object" menu, why don't we simply use "Alignment" instead of "Grid Arrange"

I'm not a native English speaker but would "lattice" make sense in this context? OTOH, even if this is the case it probably raises the problem of finding different words in other languages, too.
So the solution worked out by mental and bulia is probably the best.

No. That's different. Xara has nothing of the sort. We already have Align and Distribute, it's a different dialog.
