Hi all,
Right now the cloning ctrl+D explanation text says:
"Create a clone (a copy linked to the original) of selected object"
This was confusing for me, since I read it as: Create a clone. A copy linked to the original of the selected object.
I'd like to add a feature that does what I initially tought ctrl+D did: create a clone of the original of an object. This way I can clone around without making enormous clone chains. (often i have the original somewhere off-canvas, and it is much easier to clone a clone)
shortcut = Ctrl+Alt+D
Does this make sense?
What would be the explaining text? "Create a clone of the original of selected object"
Thanks, Johan

I don't think so. You already have it: Ctrl+D :)
Duplicating a clone does what you want: another clone of the same original.

Lol, omg... heh, anyway, I renamed things in the code to make it a little more obvious what things do. hah... the solution is so simple indeed...
