Simarilius pointed out that we're getting a surge of interest in our release. Just within the past day, there's been over 28,000 downloads of 0.42 packages:

For comparison, we saw 168,750 total downloads of 0.41, including about 35,000 in the first month of the release. I have a feeling we'll be exceeding that a bit this time. ;-)

Good work everyone, and congrats to Rejon for getting the release news out all over the internet, and to Bulia for getting an announcement posted to Slashdot today. The Inkscape Marketing Machine in action! :-)

It's really impressive to see how well the teamwork has worked for this release; I don't think I could count the number of people who made critical contributions to the process, from debugging to documenting to translation to packaging to marketing.
