I dunno what kind of preferences I changed or haven't changed, but if I use the upper/lower vertical or left/right horizontal resize handles for a rectangle object, the covner radii changes while dragging but then reverts to the previous original state after releasing the mouse.
I guess I should have tried all ways before posting my message ;-)
As always, Inkscape turns out even better than what we think ;-)

hmm, you're right, that is weird, I didn't even know...
Bulia, is that supposed to be that way? I mean, what is the extra handle with the node editing tool for then?

Sorry if I wasn't quite clear... that was a suggestion of how it should work in the future, and I still think it should :)
