I wrote to him and to another person that was involved on the translation and both of them aren't doing it anymore. So, I'm assuming the Brazilian Portuguese translation of Inkscape. Hope I can organize it until the end of this month, ok?

Ideally we should find out how to get the inkscape Po files into Gnome CVS so that the Gnome Translation Project (gtp) can help out, and as well as that make sure the Inkscape translations are consistent with other Gnome and Gtk programs.

Not sure how it is done but I do believe there are other projects who are not in Gnome CVS but do get help with their translation work.
