Autopackage: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0.9.8
Dear developers,
I first tried installing inkscape-0.44.1.x86.WONKY.package, but this gave libpng and c-library problems. I installed inkscape200611051452.package, which solves the above problems, but gives the following error:
[jliem@...1558... Desktop]$ /scratch/LinuxPrograms/bin/inkscape & [1] 31989 [jliem@...1558... Desktop]$ /scratch/LinuxPrograms/bin/.proxy.inkscape: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0.9.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[1]+ Exit 127 /scratch/LinuxPrograms/bin/inkscape [jliem@...1558... Desktop]$
Is this a bug in the installer, or can I correct this myself (without a root account)?
Best regards, Jochem

It is a bug in that the installer doesn't include ssl or tell you that it is required. But you will have to have root access to install ssl (used for whiteboard support).
