we are depending on the cairographics library to create pdf (and ps) files. the listet fileformats are the one from the cairographics api here http://www.cairographics.org/manual/cairo-PDF-Surfaces.html#cairo-pdf-versio...

So whenever cairographics support more sub versions we can adopt this.
