Both extensions fail to load out-of-the-box: the dependency check uses an incorrect (or outdated) file name of the actual python script.
Messages in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/inkscape/extension-errors.log:
Extension "Eraser layer..." failed to load because a dependency was not met. Dependency: type: executable location: extensions string: eraser.py
