OK, next thing: first of all thanx bulia, for making the mousewheel zoom to the cursor!! but:
- it's the the wrong way around, from what I feel... scrolling up zooms out, scrolling down in... that's a strange behaviour and is opposite of the way it was before, IIRC, and for sure opposite the way I'm used to it (from gimp, corel, autocad, and whatever)
- the zoom steps quite big

OK. I admit that one. I just never used a wheel mouse before and it stuck me as something entirely counterintuitive - I rotate it away from me and it zooms into me, and vice versa! So I reverseed this. If you say this is indeed the behavior of other apps I can change it back

well, that depends of what you think as moving.. I'm thinking of _me_ moving toward the canvas or away from it... and not the canvas moving. but anyways, the apps I know work the other way arround.
