inkboard on OS X?
Hey, dumb question. I know the Jabber library we're using isn't portable to Windows, but does it work on OS X?

I know Loudmouth 0.17.2 is in DarwinPorts, but not having an OS X machine to test on, I can't vouch as to whether or not it actually runs on that OS. Imendio says it does, but they also state that it has been successfully tested on Windows, so I'm not sure what their definitions are :)
I think Michael Wybrow was able to get it to run, though; he can verify whether or not I'm telling the truth.

Yes, loudmouth does work fine on OS X. When the dependency was introduced I created a fink package for loudmouth 1.0.1. This was submitted to the fink tracker some time ago though I'm not sure if it has been added to fink unstable yet.
In any case, our 0.43 OS X package includes the library and is compiled with whiteboard support. I've tested the whiteboard functionality with a couple of people while on an OS X machine and it works great.
Cheers, Michael
