Hello all,
Please see https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/562592. There is a pretty important bug in the PDF export. Currently, paths with transparency are misaligned.
Does someone know more about this? I've already done some digging, but I'm stuck. I'd greatly appreciate someone else's help.
Thanks, Johan

Does that affect filtered paths too? There used to be a problem with any thing that triggered the image fallbacks in pdf.

when doing a "cairo_push_group"/"pop_group" for all objects (instead of only doing it for transparent objects) results in correct alignment between objects, but misplaced on the document. In other words, the misalignment seems to be caused by the pushlayer poplayer stuff.
Could this be the same cairo issue as reported in Bug #320646 “export via cairo -> shifted image”? https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/320646

Could well be yes. Thanks for the cairo bug link! Is this already fixed in Cairo and should we use different cairo methods?
