For suggested issue #2: I almost never have Doc Props Dock open (tbh, I can't imagine why would one need it to be open, beyond initial set-up or intermittent need to change doc params).

Having said that, one would have to question why the docs prop module would cause a memory leak.

I appreciate you say it is fixed in 1.2, but from experience, some of the hardest things to fix, regardless of code language are memory leaks.

Although off-topic and unrelated to the original question, I do wonder if there is a correlation between doc props memory leak and Zoom slowdown when custom fonts are in use.

In some ways it could make sense, given how Inkscape offers different functional results, based on Zoom.

Just a thought. I don't have a logical argument in place to support the notion.
