copy between files in 0.42
Is anyone else unable to copy an object from one open Inkscape file to another Inkscape file in another window ? I was able to do this before upgrading to 0.42 but not sure if that is the problem. Would it be a problem if the coordinates of the copied object are off the target page? ps. using 0.42 in debian unstable. thks.

Works for me (0.42/Win32).

Works for me. Please ALWAYS attach your sample files to problem reports, especially when you're not sure what the problem is.

It will currently only work if both documents were opened from the same Inkscape session. The clipboard doesn't work between multiple simultaneous sessions.
Yes, our clipboard support currently sucks.
