Is anyone interested it doing this to the source code? I made a test CVS tree to see how much would be changed. The file count is 565. :)
I only processed files in /src, but it would be a giant commit. I personally find in valuable, but worry it would really disrupt other folks. On the other hand, doing it after a release seems like the best time to do it.
Thoughts?
This is a task in the roadmap, so it needs to be done at some point anyway.

Okay... I was talking to mental, and while it needs to happen, it's a very distruptive change since it'll break everyone's not-yet checked in stuff.
What do people think of me doing it some time midday on Monday? That should give everyone time to check in any changes they were sitting on during the freeze, but not disrupt too many people starting up on larger stuff now that the freeze is over.
I figure it's better to do this sooner than later so that we're past it.
