Hi everyone.
I'd like to help the project (and get my feet wet) doing some of the Janitorial Tasks. However I'm a Windows user and I got stuck getting the code from bazaar.
Is it possible for me to help you guys (after getting some help) or never mind?
Please let me know your thoughts on how can I help with code.

Dear Victor,
You can always help with various parts of the project, and not all tasks are code related.
There's docs, website, translations, extensions and bug management.
If you have the code and can compile, then it makes it easier to do testing and help with bug reports.
If you want, you can also put an Ubuntu installation into VirtualBox, that might make it easier (although slower) for you to get the code and follow some of the help pages.
You can chat also over on freenode #inkscape-devel https://inkscape.org /en/*users/chat/ if you'd like some guidance.
Best Regards, Martin Owens

Hi Martin,

Cheers,

The thing in most need is general administration. Some clerical, and some cheerleader work.
The first thing to do will be to come to our next board meeting, bryce is the best person to explain that process and where you could best help.
Testing the next release (0.92) would be very useful, so maybe organising a group of testing users and knowing who to report issues directly to would be a good way to enthuse develoeprs and push the release forwards.

Sure thing Martin.
Please let me know when this board meeting will happen.
Kind Regards,
