I think we're getting close to ready to freeze, and the bug list is getting amazingly long, so this is going to be the last report on bug stats for this release cycle.
We've hit 360 points, well beyond our initial goal of 150, which is pretty amazing. Lots of 9-pointers got swatted, leaving us with only 8 critical bugs (most of which appear to be compiler or platform compatibility bugs rather than crash bugs).
It's probably time to think about entering into freeze mode. It would be nice to get the release wrapped up and out the door prior to Thanksgiving so we don't have to compete with the holidays for time and eyeballs. How does Sunday sound for going into freeze mode?
