Different sizes when cut and paste between Inkscape Trunk or Stable and FontForge
Hello, Because of hardware problems with my main PC tower I went to my laptop where Inkscape 0.91 stable was installed while I mainly use Trunk usually. I noticed a difference in size in cut and paste from FontForge (the version 2 from Ubuntu 14.04 repositories) between Trunk and Stable 0.91. And I don't know if this is due to changes in units in Inkscape, and intentional or not. Thus I hesitate to fill a bug. However I will fill it if necessary. I ask me also if some settings I changed in my Trunk could cause this change.
- if I cut a glyph in FF and paste it in Inkscape Trunk, its size in Inkscape is equivalent to this glyph typed at 750 pts - if I do the same to Inkscape Stable it's equivalent to the same at 800 pts ivan
may be related to the fact that in Inkscape 0.91 the default resolution is 90 dpi, while in trunk the default resolution is 96 dpi. 96/90 = 800/750.

If is this DPI problem I done time ago a DPI switcher extension. tomorrow post the link, couldent find the bug whith the extensions inside. I hope i have it at home. Anyway maybe this can be done better with Tav work in Document viewbox preference dialog.

Perhaps that could be that!
On the other hand changing User units per mm (which is needed to https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1429591restore the resolution of SVG filters as designed fo https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1429591r the Stable 0.91 version https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1429591) doesn't change anything to this cut and paste scaling question.
Jabier switch resolution extension could be useful to solve that.

Thanks ! Yes I remember this discussion. My first practical experiment about these questions was with the filters resolution changes and that new cut and past is my second one.
