What version of inkscape did you try? Can anyone help Jimmy?

I got a good feeling when I saw the installed

inkscape program. I tried to draw a rectangle and the program just hanged up. I rebooted and tried the star tool and it hanged up again. I rebooted. I am using yoper version 2 operating system. a little work on the inkscape probably will be a good if not a perfect substitute to CorelDraw. thanks again.
