A Big thank you from a long time inkscape user
Hi Everyone,
I would like to thank everyone for the hard work you all had during the past 10 years or so. I am an inkscape user since 2007 and I couldn't be more satisfied.
This project came such a long way both in the application and in the team structure. I remember we were using mailing lists in source forge. And when our website was not using Django.
What makes me the happier is to see that the application now have layers, floating panels, dark theme (spoiler for 1.0 version!), more features, more languages, and it runs on Mac without X11!
I got really surprised when I realized that a lot of the feature requests were accepted and even implemented in the project. So thank you very much for caring. And for reaching out.
I still feel I don't have a lot of knowledge on the program (yes, this is how I feel) and my time is limited, just like anybody else, but I will do my best to commit to help onboard more users whenever possible.
Thank you so much for everyone involved in this project. Inkscape makes the world a better place for everyone.
Thanks, Victor
Thanks for your kind words! Here is a printable hotkey list and note card if you want to up your Inkscape game and workflow speed (these are my personal favs). Enjoy! https://gitlab.com/CRogers/free-graphics-assets/blob/master/inkscape/busines...
