When saving an SVG whith imported bitmap and vectors, only vectors are exported to PDF.
NO IMAGES appears in PDF. :(
Another thing I observed is that there are no way to configure PDF-WEB or PDF-PRINT ouput: Only a pdf export mode is aviable.
It was so interesting offers too a single configuration dialog to choose output PDF format and page size. ;)
Thanks and good work! Inkscape 0.44 is great!

This is a known limitation. Help us improve it :)

It should not be difficult to add more PDF configuration options. We have a general mechanism for such options, all we need is someone knowledgeable in PDF itself.

But.. Isn't there a student to write a new cairo-based Pdf exporter during the summer?

What is PDF-WEB and PDF-PRINT? Vectors should work equally well for both, and since there are no images... ?

Web or screen would typically be RGB, print typically CMYK although not always. You may also auto select a lower resolution if images were included.

And the >1000 page PDF manual (PDF) :), not that it contains everything.
