Re: [Inkscape-devel] win32 test build + exit on closing last document

M> 1- Install gtk runtime from http://www.dropline.net/gtk/download.php M> 2- Download http://195.221.122.126/tmp/inkscape-0.36cvs-w32.exe [1.22 Mo], M> extract, and change the path to your gtk libs in inkscape.bat M> 3- Run inkscape.bat thanks! it basically works, but i noticed some things on my w2k system: transient windows doesn't work :-( they all stay on the desktop when i minimize my document - they are also listem on the taskbar - it shouldn't be like that i think? (i can't can't compare because i can't update my linux version - cvs from sourceforge is a little old)
only "fill and stroke", "document settings" and "align" stay on top (and toolbar of course)
only "fill and stroke" remembers its position
thanks again from all the dual-boot users out there i think :-) and thanks for bulia for great dialogs.
one more thing: i'm not sure if exiting inkscape on closing last document is a good behaviour. it prevents user from doing such simple thing like closing the document and opening another one (if there's no other document open inkscape will exit). i don't like it. maybe the idea would be to show some special dialog when user closes last document. the options on such dialog might be "Cancel", "Save & Exit", "Exit Without Saving", "Open Existing Document" and "Create New Document". what do you think about that?
inkscape is great! best regards yemu
