The reason being that your Windows (Icelandic?) seems to use comma instead of period for fractional numbers (e.g. 927,38287 instead of 927.38287), and this drives Inkscape crazy. We'll need to focus on this bug, among others, for the next bug-fixing release. Please attach your before and after examples with comments to that bug, they may be helpful. As a temporary workaround, you can change the number format in your Windows settings - please let me know if this helps.
