static rpm depends on glitz
The static rpm for 0.44pre0 refuses to install on my system because of a missing dependency: glitz. Is it really necessary or just a build mistake?

A build mistake most probably. I'll look into it right now. I'm trying to get rid of bogus dependencies but it seems that's not going to well :-( Sorry for this. I'll try to upload a new RPM this week-end. In the meantime, you can try the autopackage.
Thanks for the report.

Try recycling the binaries, or using apbuild. Apbuild will automatically strip bogus dependencies like this one for you.

I tried, but it stops with some errors. I don't remember which one, though.
