Hello All! I hope you all had a safe and happy new year celebration! Thank you for all you've done for the Inkscape project, and I'm excited to see what we can accomplish this year.

This Saturday (January 6) we'll be meeting at 16:00 UTC (see time conversion https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Inkscape+Vectors+Meeting&iso=20180106T16&p1=1440&ah=1). We are going to plan to have our meeting the day after every project board meeting. Rather than at our prior meeting place, we'll be meeting at: https://meet.jit.si/inkscapevectors

Jitsi free software and offers us the ability to have simultaneous *video**, **voice**, /or/ **text***chat. We tested this during our last meeting and it allowed us to have a much more productive hour. I understand that some of you may not feel comfortable participating by video or voice. Please join and contribute by any method you feel comfortable with. Join early and try it out. It runs from the browser and is easy to use. Mute options are at the top, the text chat is accessible on the left side.

The agenda is still in progress and can be found at https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape-vectors/general/issues/23. If you'd like to see anything added to the agenda, please comment in that issue before our meeting.
