Inkscape 0.46 About Screen Contest - Voting time!
Hello all!
The submission period for the contest has concluded. Now it is time for the community voting. To find out more and to cast your votes, please visit the following link: http://inkscapers.deviantart.com/journal/16298574/
We will count votes from the mailing list for people who do not have DA accounts, as we did last time. However, if you have a DA account or wouldn't mind signing up for one, it will make things much easier when it comes to tally time.
Good luck everyone!
-Josh
I'd like to vote on the "Shining Star" concept: http://hrum.deviantart.com/art/shinig-star-73166368

Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. It's the best place to buy or sell services for just about anything Open Source.

Wow, the screens get better with every new release. Jut wonder if that is inkscape, the artists or the popularity of inkscape improving?
Anyway, my vote goes to №7 by needcoffee. I also liked №19 by ironya. №16 would make a great tutorial on icy shapes though.
Best regards, Helge

Hi,
first of all thanks to all submitters for these wonderful suggestions; there are a couple of true gems among them! But since I can only vote for two, here are my personal favorites:
1) No. 7 by needcoffee 2) No. 6 by prkos

Hey all...
I wish I could be excited about this one. Unfortunately, it appears that I had forgotten one entry when putting the list of submissions together. I have since updated that journal entry with that one included (as well as a couple more thumbnails we got). It is number 32 at the bottom. - http://carver-s.deviantart.com/art/inkscape-about-screen-73960311
For anyone that would like to change a vote, please let me know and I will get it corrected when tallying up the numbers.
I'm very sorry about any inconvenience.

Ah, the Cthulu entry has arrived. Does Inkscape DO non-euclidean?

Nice entry too... contribution level increase with inkscape functionalities. I hope the usage of new filters will show increadible entries in few weeks or months (not easy enough to manipulate today, this need good tutorials by specialists).
Regards
Popolon

But 2, 6, 12, 28 and 32 are nice too. Some great entries.
Got to be number 11 for me.
