Compile error with FreeType >= 2.2.0 (caused by ps export type 1 patch)
I'm having problems compiling since revision 13379 which applied the (rather old) patch 1219308 [1] for embedding Type 1 fonts into exported PostScript files.
The reason for the problems is that the patch relies on internal FreeType headers which are no longer exposed as of version 2.2.0, see [2] for details.
Unless the patch can be rewritten any time soon, I think it needs to be rolled back -- FreeType 2.2.* is pretty common, Ubuntu 6.10 uses 2.2.1 for instance.

I agree. The author of the patch is Cyril Dangerville. Cyril, can you try to work around this?
