About Documentation
Hello,
I downloaded the source code some time ago, and after some time reading, I still don't understand how it works from a general POV. Is a ".txt" with some paragraphs ( the last date of update from which is unknown i think) enough for such a large software? Wouldn't be better if some better explanation about it's structure, more than "there are two trees somewhere, one of them agnostic", was written, so more people could get into developing? Or is it just me, that i'm so noob, because the program is quite trivial?
Thanks

Did you look here: http://inkscape.org/doc/devdocs.php (or http://inkscape.org/doc/devdocs.php?lang=en - mine came up in espanol :)
Not sure how up-do-date everything is, but should be a good place to start.
Chris
I'm not seeing the problem in Firefox and Opera on linux, but others have reported erratic lang problems on inkscape.org. Random website parts are displayed in different languages, different when you reload.
It may be that the link /index.php works but / gives borked results (or when coming to inkscape.org from the button on the front page of inkscapeforum.com)
Here is the forum thread where it has been reported http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=5741
