The word "refactoring" is floating in the air ever since 0.46 was branched. What I'm curious about is whether we have the exact plan of what we want to do.
This is especially interesting in the context of other words like "animation". Is it still planned to split Inkscape into InkCore to make it possible building new applications? Do we want animation as part of Inkscape or as a co-project?

I'll put out a plan of attack once 0.46.0 is tagged. I've been gathering notes on what needs done in talking with several people the past few months, but want to focus on getting 0.46 out the door first.
