Hi,
I found this interesting project on planet.kde.org. It's an WordPerfect Graphics to SVG converter, perhaps you are interested:

I thought that was interesting, looked at the code, and found it to be an easy Inkscape extension. But, now that I have it integrated I can't get it to open any WPG files. It gets the sizes right, but doesn't seem to have any elements.
Anyway, it's checked in, if it isn't more useful, it probably should be taken out before the release. I have it in SVK, so it isn't that difficult to get updates out of their CVS repository, I'll try and do that regularly.

Hmm, since no one will talk to me, I'll just talk to myself :)
I talked with Ariya from libwpg. It seems that the graphics I was using likely include features that aren't currently supported. Most likely, they just included bitmaps in the vectored format (figures when you download random stuff from the web). He sent me a picture that works great. Anyway, try it out, I'm sure you have a clipart CD of .wpg files somewhere :)
