Dear Developers,

At the developer meeting today we decided to target the Release Candidate for April 29th 2021, we'll be meeting at the next Developer Meeting to organise and make sure the RC goes off correctly.

Please make sure all your bugs are fixed for the RC and merge requests for the 1.1.x branch is completed. After the RC there will be much less opportunity to merge things in.

The final release is scheduled then for three weeks after the Release Candidate. The process for the release moves from the development team to the vectors team to take the final steps.

Let Marc or myself know here or on rocket chat if there's any unforseen issues or scheduling conflicts as soon as possible.
