Re: [Inkscape-devel] Strange bug in Windows build?
). But you'll probably see it in the attached svg file that there are freakish numbers showing... This used to be a small default values star... :(
Thanks, that helps. It would be even better if you could send a couple of "before" and "after" files that are only different by the offending convert to path operation, so we could see exactly what points were displaced and what were not. Please use a simplest possible shape for this (ellipse or square, not star). Being unable to reproduce, I cannot guarantee fixing this, but that would still be helpful.

Here are the before and after svg's. The original has a 100.0x100.0 square.
Best regards

Ok. If you have some time, try this build:
http://troi.lincom-asg.com/~rjamison/inkscape/builds/Inkscape0402120542.zip
It hopefully formats the numbers consistently. However, in our Locale, there is no way to test it. Let me know if it works.

Hi
The new build does path conversion without messing up the shape... However, as soon as I try to move the object, edit the nodes etc. it messes up as before...
:/
Changing the locale settings (comma to period) works, however, so now I can use Inkscape at work. :) Thanks for the tip. As anticipated I couldn't find the correct glib version for windows...
Best regards

Ok, so at least we are going in the right direction. I will keep looking for ways to fix this, so you will probably see improvements in the builds.
I don't think that a usable 2.3.0 for Windows exists yet. Normally one should wait until it is posted on Tor Lillqvist's page.
