Have not been able to successfully use the above extension, typically get white as a color, so I modified the file \Inkscape\share\extensions\color_custom.py to work okay for me, and reported it as https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/186176 Am curious to see if anyone else has tried to use this extension.
