Are you sure you did a "btool clean" ? If the file is not there, btool will not try to g++ it. Make sure build.dep does not contain "fontsize-expansion".

Yes, I tried to narrow in, where an error occurred first time, and had compiled rev. 20014, 20017 and 20018, as I could not put color on the side of a 3d-box without a crash. This error occurred first time in rev. 20019.
Next, I updated to rev. 20028 and ran "btool clean" and then "btool". I am compiling at the moment, but in a few minutes I can repeat it and run a grep for "fontsize-expansion" in build.dep.

I tried again. The dependency cache must be deleted manually in order to be updated.
