While looking into the OCAL import problem, I noticed that the rss feed used for the search:
http://openclipart.org/media/feed/rss/<tag>
always returns only 15 results at most. Can this limit be removed? With it, the feature is pretty useless because it shows only a small teaser of what's available.
Also, is there a way to search for multiple tags via rss? what is the syntax?
So, can anyone respond please? Who is doing any development on openclipart.org?
I also looked into the problem of importing PNGs where SVGs are available. I can code around it in Inkscape, but it would be much better to fix this on the openclipart side. It now returns in its rss feed, for example:
<enclosure url="http://openclipart.org/people/johnny_automatic/johnny_automatic_press_stamping_fenders.png" length="46203" type="image/png"></enclosure>
which is what Inkscape uses for loading the file. It needs to refer to the SVG file where it's available instead.

Afaik, there is no active developer on openclipart.org, There are "only" some Users who upload cliparts and a lot of downloading users. (Jon please tell me that I'm wrong.) So, Bulia if you need this fixed you have to fix it yourself or wait until a developer is interested in openclipart.org.

No one is super active right now...but of course, I can get things done on the code side depending on what needs to be done...yes, we need dev love...my cc work is totally consuming me...but I'm committed to keeping OCAL moving forward...
